Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures in Kenya , said he was astounded by what he saw:
“These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,’ he said.
‘On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together.
‘At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily’.”
Then these scenes followed
and then they just walked away without hurting him.
Reminder from nature: eat when you’re hungry, not when you’re bored.
Well, isn’t this just the sweetest thing?
Cheetahs are mah favourites! ^.^ Definitely going to Canberra Zoo to meet a cheetah someday - it’s on the bucket list!
I got new running shoes! I got the Nike Free Run shoes and they’re sooo comfy =) Sneaky salesman had me try them on first so of course any cheaper ones I tried on after just didn’t feel as good haha, but he gave me 20% off and then my awesome boyfriend said they could be an early birthday present for me (birthday’s in July, so it’s pretty early, but I’m A-OK with that) so woot! I have some fancy shmancy new runners that are super comfortable. Now I have no excuse not to run! =D Super stoked to try them out tomorrow!
Why are all the best things only available in Australia?!
I don’t intend to burst anyones bubble, but this juice is honestly the closest thing to bottled perfection.
Yes! This stuff is the best! <3

Thinking about fitness and such lots lately, and how I haven’t been so great about it. Just recently, I decided I was going to gradually up my push up ability, and today I decided I’d try the “Couch to 5K Running” program thinger, since a lot of you lovelies that I follow all post about how awesome running is, and I want in on it haha. I’ve never been much of a runner, so I figured this program might work well for me because it REALLY gradually eases you into running, which I think is something I need, because every other time I’ve tried to get myself into running, I end up not enjoying myself and burning myself out/getting discouraged early on and giving up within about a week. So hopefully this is something I can stick to and hopefully I will start to enjoy running and reap the many benefits of running regularily =) Wish me luck!
(Here’s the program I’m starting on if anyone’s interested)

If you don’t reblog…
I almost missed it.
So many people make that mistake that my brain automatically fixes it as I’m reading it. haha

Actually watching this right now!
So I’ve been thinking. My arms are pretty weak right now, and lack quite a bit of definition. I decided last night that I would start a pushups challenge of sorts in order to build my arm strength (I don’t have any free weights or dumbells - those most likely will be on the birthday wish list, but until then I’m limited to what I have in my house). I figured I’d start with completing 10 proper psuh ups throughout the day until I could to 10 in a row, and then up it to 25 per day, then maybe even up to 50 and perhaps ultimately 100. It would be pretty cool to say I can do 100 pushups in a day, even if not consecutively, seeing as I can hardly do any right now. So wish me luck! I’ll take before and after pictures of my arms to see if I notice a difference in the definition. =)
